Ok, have I mentioned how much I LOVE being a mom? I always knew I wanted to be a mom from the time I was small- but I never realized how much I would really love having this title as my name.
It is so fun watching my two kids interact together. I know Addie doesn't really do all that much as of yet, but she does lay and watch her brother as he sits and tells her stories. Just now after his and my cuddle time, he got down and told me "I play sister Mommy". At first I told him no, b/c he is still just a bit rough around the edges with her, and the look on his face broke my heart. After seeing his crushed look, I told him to "play sister" but be gentle. He sat next to her little bouncy chair and proceeded to point out all her features, hold her hand and ask me to sing to her. He then moved on to her new star toy and played twinkle twinkle for her enjoyment. He is such a great brother already and I believe that it will continue for many years. Micah has so much concern for other people and he has really taken to watching out for her, and it hasn't even been a month since she arrived. He loves just sitting and watching her or looking through her pictures on the computer. You can just see the love shine in his eyes as he talks about her to people. He doesn't like to be seperated from her in any way and cries when he they are apart. I am proud of my little guy and just so thankful for the sweet spirit and love he possesses and pray that he will always stay true to himself.
