So yesterday I went shopping at Aurora Farms with one of my friends and her little boy. We had such a fun time- I love getting out of the house and spending time with other adults :) It doesn't happen all that often when you are a SAHM. We got a few great bargains- new shoes for the boys and clothes for all the kids. I was able to find some new kicking pink and grey Adidas running shoes
and a shirt for myself. But the best part...we found a 
lion costume for her son. Why is that such a big deal? Well- because we already had planned that Micah was going to be the Tin Man and little Miss Addie was going as Dorothy. So now we have the lion. We are thinking of talking to our friend Carla, whom has a little boy that is a year old, to see if he has a costume yet. If he doesn't....wonder if he would want to be a scarecrow? Think of those pictures!!
In other news...well- there really isn't much other news! Tomorrow nite we have a youth leader meeting- hard to believe the new year is beginning already. It is so fun to plan the events- I just wish that I could be more involved. It is hard not having relatives around to help out with babysitting- it seems that everyone else always has all these connections. We had to have a youth come and watch Micah just so I could go to this meeting...which of course means extra money...sigh...it never ends. This isn't even an option for other events- our babysitter is a youth and since they are youth events...you get the picture. I hope to help as much as I can this year- it is always up in the air- but hopefully it will work out more than it won't.

The wizard of Oz characters!! What a cute idea! Xander was considering being a lion too, but there are so many great choices-we never thought of a themed costume! We'll have to start brainstorming! I can't wait to see the pics of Micah and Addie!
