on the top of Addie's head ;) I know it might be a bit goofy- but I couldn't help myself. A mother's dream for her daughter is to have gorgeous hair that can be styled in various ways. I never thought I would be able to do this with my 3 month old! I guess she takes after her mommy just a bit here ;)

Other than that, today was pretty uneventful. We went to church (a bit late b/c of a crabby 2 year old) and found out that my friend Heather and her family decided to come and visit today. I am so embarrassed that I wasn't there to greet them. I did meet up with her after service and I hope that they had a good time. I have really enjoyed out friendship that is developing and have come to look forward to our playdates :)
Tim is at church for youth tonite and following that, board meetings. They are voting on the budget tonite- which I pray goes through without a hitch. There are always people that come and try to raise a stink year after year- though they really have little investment in the church other than it being a gathering place for them on Sundays- at least that is how it seems. There are so many that just don't seem to care what goes on during the year until budget time and then they feel it is their responsibilty to determine where and how the money should be spent. It has gone to the extreme of even petitioning against church staff one year. Sometimes ministry can really be ugly- it is no wonder that there are so many turned off by the church.
So this time of year has come again and I just pray that things go off without too much angst. I hate to see Tim and the rest of the staff have to worry about what the future holds year in and year out. This church has so much possibility- if only everyone had the heart to invest in that chance.
On that note I give you Day 10 of the parental prayer program. Enjoy.

I think it is called a water spout-like a whale :) At least that's what we always called it with Mark's niece!
