I am so worn out. Maybe I am just coming down with the bug that has plagued Tim and Addie and now Micah for the past few weeks. I just have no energy to move. My head is heavy right now and I may even feel a bit of soreness in my throat. This is NOT the time to be sick. It can't happen to me- it can't!
I had a nice time at my chat today, though I am really sad none of you really showed up to support me. Oh well- I had around 25 other people there and had a great time.
Addie is cuddled up in my arms right now and I am deciding whether or not to submit some recent digital creations. I really should be up either wrapping gifts, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the numerous other things that need cleaned, but I just don't feel like moving.
Tonite we took dinner to my inlaws so that Tim could work on a Christmas gift. We had a nice time there and then had to head to the scrapbook store to pick up supplies to finish my cards. On the way home we stopped by the NEATO house that has all of their lights synchronized to a local radio station. It was quite amazing to watch- the Wizards of Winter house on that has circulated the net has nothing on this house. The show is about 20 minutes long- rotating through numerous Christmas songs. Micah was in awe and cried when we finally pulled away. It definitely put me in a happy Christmas mood for at least a little while.
Tomorrow we are supposed to get an ice storm- up to an inch or so of ice and then all turning to snow. YUCK! So glad that I have no where to go tomorrow. Tomorrow is my official- work my butt off day. I really hope to get a lot accomplished- such as making and addressing the rest of my Christmas cards ;)
Friday will be a fun day- Tim is taking his Dad to see King Kong in the morning so that he can write up a review for C6M. Afterwards he and his dad are going shopping and getting lunch. While they are out having fun, MIL and I are taking the kids shopping and going out for lunch. :) Though we are sure to have fun- the guys do owe us a day without the kids. I am sure that will happen real soon ;) Friday evening we have a Christmas party for the youth at Hartville Kitchen. If you haven't ever been there (which I am pretty sure most of you haven't) it is quite tasty and they have the most wonderful little gift shops. There is a neat little shop there where I would love to take Addie when she is a bit older- you can adopt a baby (doll) from their nursery. It looks exactly like it would in a hospital. :) It is quite adorable.
Saturday I believe is a "do everything we can" day at home. We still have so much to do, tons of Christmas things to ready, cleaning, etc... Sunday will be busy with church, a Christmas party and then a Christmas program in the evening. The next week is short- we are heading up to my parent's at the end of the week for our Christmas celebration. Pray for no snow!! :)
I really should be doing something besides this so I am going to stop chatting. Hope you all are more organized this holiday season than I- it really snuk up on me. Enjoy at least a few moments each day and revel in the Reason for the Season.
