So Phil saw his shadow. Six more weeks of winter. Hasn't been much of a winter as is- so do I have much to worry about?
Today is Tim's birthday. He is old ;) Although old, he hasn't lost his humor- you can read all about his day on his blog. I made one of his favorite meals tonite, Stir Fry Broccolli and Chicken followed with his usual birthday cake request- Yellow Cake with Chocolate Icing. (this years had special "Ball sprinkles" courtesy of Micah. Micah made Tim a cute card and we sang "Happy Birthday" twice :) I will share a few pictures at the end of my post.
Since today was a sort of warmer day, I took the kids and headed out to play in the park for a bit. Unfortunatley it was a bit cooler after being out for a half hour, but we did have time for a few pictures :) It was sort of grey out so the colors aren't great- but I did manage to get a cute picture of Micah and Addie where they are both smiling! :)
Today I spent much needed time on the phone- calling for a new family doctor and then calling area preschools to gather information. WOW- how did time pass so quickly? I can't even believe Micah is old enough to even think about school yet. When I talked to him about it- he was so excited- he told me that he will be like Gabe, his cousin in kindergarten.
We just watched the most annoying newscast- they think they are so hip and cutting edge- snork! It was so pitiful- they had this big "Breaking News" about another station and a scandel with an intern. It was so so so cheesy- it was hard to even sit through. Goodness- could dwe just tell news and not try to throw in all the cliches?
