We are in need of a grocery store trip and I didn't really want to venture out in the cold today so I scoured the cupboards and came up with ingredients for Cheeseburger Soup :) It was absolutely delish and paired with my homemade bread (thanks Angie for the recipe), it really hit the spot on this blustery winter day. Tomorrow we are having baked garlic bread ziti- another YUM meal!! We are taking it over to MIL's house to celebrate her birthday- which reminds me- I so need to work on my project...
Today was another nice, laid back day. Both kids napped at the same time (Addie slept for 3 hours!) and I was able to get a few things done around the house. I feel like a need a new big project- I thrive on projects. I still have to paint our bedroom- but I am waiting for the weather to warm up a bit for that so that the windows can be opened. I simply can not wait to begin though- it is going to be so bright and contemporary. Man- now I am wanting to begin NOW. Patience Grasshopper.
I had the weirdest thing happen to me the other nite- I took out my contacts like normal and went to put on my glasses- except when I unfolded the leg- the glasses bent in the middle and literally fell apart in my hand. WTWTF? I didn't do anything- they just almost melted like icecream. Being the blind bat I am, I must make a appt. to get a new exam and glasses. So not what I wanted to be spending extra money on- but too many more nights of me holding up half of my glasses to squint at Jay Leno on our bedroom tv is gonna give me a permanent headache.
I am off to put the chiquitos in bed and then do a bit more scrapping before retiring myself. I have a few new digital kits I want to work with and I need to finish up my paper project that has sat idle for two days now. Wish me lots of creative juice. Until then...sweet dreams and goodnite.

OMG, I am cracking up about the glasses things. The same thing happened to me when I was 8. It was while I was visiting my mom. SO of course my dad was in Oregon and my mom's insurance didn't cover me. SO my stepdad took on of those saudering tools and I had a big silver blob in the middle of my face. Even though I was so young, I was still embarassed. I couldn't see anything without them, but I almost always refused to wear them for a couple of weeks until I went back to my dads. It's so funny to think back at it now. I wonder if my mom has any pictures.
