But I am happy to report that everyone in our household is seemingly healthy- I believe that Addie and I escaped the wrath of sickness this time through. Phew- I really wasn't looking forward to seeing how well of job I do cleaning the toilet ;)
This past week has blessed us with beautiful weather and thankfully we were able to enjoy it most days. Micah and Addie are all about being outside- they are going to be quite the pair this summer. Both kids loves bubbles and their "Sand and Water Table" and of course the usual park routine. Yesterday we were able to enjoy a fun outing to a park in Jackson with our friends Heather, Mackenzie and Taylor. It was great to see the older two actually play together- I am glad to know that the selfishness of toddlerhood won't last forever.
Addie had quite a rough nite yesterday evening, poor thing! While Tim and I took some youth to one of our friend's cd release concert, we left the kids at "sitters"(Micah with Grandma and Grandpa and Addie with our friends Brad, Krystal and Jeremiah) . This was Addie's first time with non-family (and she has only done that once or twice) and she put up quite a spectacle. I thought I was off easy- she was playing and oh so happy when I left, but from what I hear, she turned ugly quite quickly and proceeded to disrupt the entire evening they had planned with her. I feel horrible about the whole situation, that Addie was so heartbroken away from us and that they had to deal with her horrible demeanor and have poor Jeremiah's whole nite turned upside down. I am not so sure he will want her to be his future wife after learning what a bear she can be ;)
Speaking of Addie and boys, she is quite the little flirt. Tonite we got together with friends to play cards (well the guys did that- not us women whom of course had "child duty") and Mr. Jeremiah and Addie didn't want too much to do with one another except the occassional glance out of the corner of their eyes. While those two more or less ignored one another (I think Jeremiah was still upset from last nite ;) ), Walker, an OLDER boy (lol- yeah older at 2 that is) made his move on my girl. He went as far as to tell her she was pretty, gave her kisses and even kissed her feet. Addie thought he was quite the funny guy and shyly twirled her hair and let out little fits of giggles and he talked to her. It was sooo stinkin cute to watch- Mr. Jeremiah may need to watch out or else he may just loose his girl to the wooing of an older boy.
In other news about this past week, as I posted, Tim ended up getting sick Tuesday nite- after we went up to the high school to watch the softball game and track meet that some of our youth were involved with. Beforehand, we sorta did Easter- though things just weren't the same- the kids enjoyed their goodies. I did get a few pictures- will try to get them uploaded at some point in the next few days. I have been busy disinfecting the house in hopes that the germs are gone. I have been sleeping in the spare room the last few nites- just to make sure that any lingering germs have no way of reaching me (or if they do reach me- I can at least know I made it darn hard to do so).
Tomorrow is another long day of church and normal Sunday life. Sigh-tim was gone at a meeting most of today and tomorrow is a work day- weekends can really stink when you are a person in ministry's wife. Oh well- this is the life we have chosen and the life that God has placed before us so as usual, I will endure. If only it weren't supposed to rain and be ugly most of the coming week. Maybe I will work on prepping our room for paint or some other project that I am sure I can find around here to work on.
I guess I should head up to bed, morning will come wayyy to early for this nite owl. I will just share 2 10 month pictures I took of Addie and one of Mr. Micah being silly the other day. I can't upload to Blogger- something is up with their picture hosting so I have been using Photobucket- sorry you can't see them bigger- and if they happen to look pixelated- they really aren't that way- I have noticed photobucket does that every now and then. Hope you all have had a wonderful week and I hope the coming week brings you much happiness as well.

I Already told you I love those pictures of the kids! Cute! I hope that you guys have no more sickness. And I hope that we don't get it either. Matt said that your mom was the one who got Micah and Tim sick as she had it on the Friday you guys went there. At least that's what your dad told us. SO I hope all the germs were gone at your parent's house too since we went over there on Tuesday.
