Dinner Out

Tonite Tim, the kids and I went out to Fridays for a Mother's day Dinner. Although we had a bit of a wait to get in (a wedding party, tons of teens and their dates for prom), all in all it was a wonderful time. Micah ate every single strand of his spaghetti (with alfredo sauce- of course ;) ) and Addie kept busy eating various things and entertaining the people sitting next to us. She is such a ham- I have no idea where she gets her sense of humor from.
After dinner we went to Best Buy to pick up a radio for Addie's room and then to Walmart to get a few odds and ends. We ended up being there forever- gotta love Walmart on a late Saturday nite- NOT!

Most of our morning was spent re-arranging Micah's bedroom- we had purchased a train table from a garage sale about a month ago and it really wasn't fitting in well with the arrangment of his furniture. Of course, nothing is ever easy, and it took hours to move everything, change things on the walls, sort through his clothing and then put things back in their respective places. At least it was all time well spent- he enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of playing trains with the new arrangement and then conked out for a long nap on his bed. Hopefully it will stay clean for at least longer than it took us to move everything ;)

Tomorrow we are heading up to my parents house for a quick visit. Nothing special planned, and one part of my Mom's gift hasn't arrived- so I feel really bad- I was so looking forward to it. Oh well- hopefully it will arrive this next week and I can either send it or make her wait until she is here in June. Hopefully she will understand and the anticipation will just grow with the wait.
Unfortunately the weather isn't supposed to be greatest, so I doubt Micah will be able to play outside with Poppa much- but I am sure he will enjoy himself none-the-less. Addie usually takes awhile to warm up- hopefully it won't be so bad since we were just there about a month ago.
I think I am going to go on up to bed- well at least go upstairs because we all know that a mother can never just go right to bed- there is just too much to be done. None-the-less, I should head that way so at least the bed is a bit move in view. Nite all and happy Mother's Day to any and all Mother's reading this entry. May you all have a wonderful day tomorrow and feel truly special- you deserve it :)
