I had a fun day today :) We dropped the kids off with Grandma and Grandpa and had an afternoon on our own- and wow- it was sooooo weird not to have to worry about Micah dilly-dallying while crossing a street or trying to get down and roam the restaurant while eating. I didn't have to cut food into small bites for anyone or worry about finding a nice diaper changing area. It really was heaven ;)
We went to see United 93 to start the day off. It was intense, a bit different than I thought- shot as if it were a documentary, but still accomplished its purpose. Following this we went to the mall and though going in for certain items, left without those but instead stopped at the Bath and Body Works sale and picked up some gifts and treats for myself :) Following this, we went to Panera for lunch (Ruby Tuesday doesn't open until next week- so I get two treats, this small one and next week the official one ;) LOL). We both had the "You pick two" and I tried the sugar pea and asparagus soup- and YUM YUM! It was wonderful. That along with my Tuscan Chicken and French baquette were just perfect. After lunch we checked in with the kids and headed to Best Buy to pick up a few items and then to a camera store to check on print prices.
It was a great day- the kids were great while we were gone and after we came home- we had a great time outside playing and just enjoying one another.
Tomorrow I am off to shop for Addie's party supplies- ekkk- it is just a few days away and I have SOOO much to do- so much that I haven't yet figured out what all it is yet ;) LOL It will come together though- I have no doubt :) I work best under pressure anyways.
In essence of saving time and getting in some beauty sleep (and I sure do need some of that lately!), I will cut to the chase and just share a few more Memorial Weekend pictures. I hope you are enjoying these peeks into our lives- it was fun to capture all of these and even more fun to share with others.
