Singing a New Song

I downloaded some great new music last nite. EMusic was ever so kind and gave me a free month of downloads for being such a great customer (ok- they really just wanted to get me to re-sign up with them ) but none-the-less, I had 90 free downloads and thus had to do some searching to find new artists to become familar with. (EMusic is mostly independent bands or lesser known mainstream groups) My quest began two nites ago and last nite it was completed. I am quite happy with my choices, and wanted to share with you in case anyone else is looking for something new.

Haley Bonar "The Size of Planets"

EastMountainSouth "EastMountainSouth"

Calexico "Garden Ruin"

Beth Waters "Beth Waters"

Lisa Loeb and Elizabeth Mitchell "Catch the Moon"
(great children's cd)

Charlotte Martin "Veins"

Micah P. Hinson "Micah P. Hinson and the Gospel of Progress"

Anne Davis "Letters, Prayers and Journal Entries"

Cortney Tidwell "Don't Let Stars Keep Us Tangeld Up"

Roman Candle "The Wee Hours Revue"

The Weepies "Say I am You"

Charlambides "A Vintage Burden"

Various Artists "A Winter's Night"

and then a song from Allison Krauss from Itunes (still had money on it from Christmas!) and Keane's newest "Under the Iron Sea"

I am now ready for a nice long car trip to listen to my new tunes and just get lost in the music. Have I ever told you how much I LOVE music? :)
