that my favorite season must pass so quickly into the greyness of early winter? BLAH! It was beautiful- absolutely beautiful Monday and Tuesday- now a severe line of storms passed through this evening and tomorrow's high is in the upper 40s and they are forecasting a light dusting of SNOW. Can you believe it? So much for gorgeous fall pictures this year :(
Kids
For all of those who have asked, Addie is doing well- thankfully she seems to have no residual effects from her episode. I think I am more scared than she. I had her sleep with us last nite- so I could keep an eye on her and I must say, she is quite the animated sleeper. While we were all laying there asleep, suddenly she reached up her arms and kept saying, "mine mine mine" LOL I have never heard her say that word but apparently she was dreaming of someone (probably Micah) taking something that belonged to her.
Not long after, a storm woke Micah up and scared him pretty bad, and he too ended up in bed with us. Oh yes- lots of comfortable sleep for Tim and I last nite ;)
Micah had another great week at school- they studied spiders in preparation for Halloween. I think we may make the "spider" snacks they had at school for lunch tomorrow- a ritz cracker with pretzels for legs and M&Ms for eyes. So cute!
Anyways...they had chapel for the first time today- when I asked him about it, he said they learned about Jesus. LOL- I am sure they did, but I was looking for a bit more detail ;)
Weekend Plans
I am so excited for the rest of this week. Tomorrow we have swimming class and then my friend Heather and her two girls are coming over for a play date. Later that evening I plan on going running at the Y since I missed out on it today.
Friday I will be watching Jeremiah- which if like last time, it will mean I get a ton more done since he entertains my kids and keeps them from tearing into one another. LOL Friday nite, Micah and Addie will go to my inlaws and Tim and I will freeze our hineys off while football parking.
Then on Saturday, I plan on running again in the morning and then we have friends coming over for pizza and the OSU game. So Fun!! We haven't been able to have many people over recently and I am just so pumped to be able to host people here once again :)
Business
I am excited to report that my schedule is filling up quickly for the remainder of this fall. I have a shoot Sunday, Monday, and Thursday next week as a matter of fact :) I have also been approached about a HUGE project, though I am not sure if I am at that point in my business to take it on. I still feel honored. I have another big shoot the first weekend of November and have had interest in doing two weddings. Yeah- I didn't think I would do weddings, but one is a friend and the other I am weighing my options on. It is a lot to take in all at once and right now I just need to figure out if I want a "niche" or if I am going to be more "multi-faceted".
No matter, it is exciting to have people interested in my talents and then be able to give them an exciting project in return. :)
With that, I am off to sleep- tomorrow will be a busy day and with the lack of sleep after last nite, I am one sleepy chica. Hopefully no one will be joining our bed tonite- I plan on stretching out and enjoying my space once again.
