so little time.
I am still working on PA pictures...
Micah finished his swimming class yesterday at the Y. He will still be staying in the Pike class- BUT, he is sooo much improved. He lets go of us now- as long as he has the wall to grab onto. He also can now blow bubbles (he wouldn't even dare put his face in the water prior), moves his arms a bit and jumps in with less assistance than before. So proud of him. Oh- and he went under- all by himself. He was so proud- he kept telling his teacher what he did ("teacher teacher, I made a big jump under water") So cute!
Tonite was our youth Christmas party- we had it catered by Chic-Fil-A and it was a fun nite. Following dinner we had a game of Christmas charades and then a white elephant gift exchange. Some lovely gifts I must say ;)
Tomorrow- *gasp* I am free. Tim is shopping with his Dad in the morning- but other than that- we are free free free. Of course that just means time for me to work on things around the house- but hey- not leaving the house for a day sounds wonderful!! :)
I can't even believe that one week from now will be our "Nite before Christmas" at my parent's house. Time sure does fly.
I must give an update- Micah is finally getting the whole idea of Christmas :) Today he sat and told me me this story... "Mary was going to have a baby and she had to go to a barn and put baby Jesus in a manger which is a "feeding trough" and wrap him in clothes. The angels came and scared the shepards and sheep- but they said, "don't be scared". How cute is that? I think he has it pretty down pat :)
He has been really cuddly today- he and I cuddled up on the chair tonite and watched Mickey's Christmas and he kept hugging and kissing me and telling me how much he loves me. Awww- love those times!!
I think I am off to sleep- this will be the earliest all week- yep- still "late" but early to me :) Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!
