Can anyone tell me "Why" I procrastinate? You think one would learn...
I am working on three gifts, no make that five- to which don't require much but still... UGH!! How many more days do I have?
I have about half of the PA pics ready to load- the others are on the back burner right now- have too many pressing things to get done. I uploaded two client orders tonite and have another to finish off tomorrow. I am cross eyed from photoshopping. Aye aye aye!! I need an assistant- any takers? Seriously though... it isn't like I have been sitting around doing nothing- in fact... here is a list of what I DID do the last few days.
*Deep cleaned all carpets except spare room and Micah's (took pretty much a full day)
*Took Photos for a client
*Edited photos for a client
*Proofing Session
*Uploaded Two Orders
*Baked cookies with Micah
*Cleaned Addie and Micah's rooms
*Cleaned kitchen numerous times
*Studied for and led Girl's Bible Study
*Ran errands for Tim
*Finished Christmas Cards
*Deep Cleaned kitchen (I was in a cleaning kick- what can I say?)
*Tons of little errands
*Worked on homemade gifts
Plus normal daily things like playing with the kids, cooking, dishes, folding laundry, putting away mountains of clothing, paying bills...
Ahh- I feel much better now seeing that. Seriously. I feel like my list won't ever end. I still have tons of baking to do (and snack for Micah's party next week), gifts to complete, errands to run... Shhesh- can I have a 48 hour day- just once- please?
Moving on...
Tomorrow is Micah's last swimming class- Tim and I get to go observe :) I hope he does well- can't wait for the next session to begin.
Micah had so much fun at preschool today- they read the story of the gingerbread boy and how he ran as fast as he could. To go along with the lesson- they made gingerbread men- took them to the kitchen to watch them bake. After dropping them off- they went for the "muscle room" time until they were ready. Well...when they went back- those sneaky gingerbread boys had ran away. The kids then got to go on a search through the church for their missing cookies. They went through the offices, in and out of classrooms... looked all over...until...they came back to their class and there they were- all ready for them to enjoy. Micah had such a blast telling me about it- esp. when we made some of our own. So cute to watch his mind move.
At the end of school today, the kids all presented their parents with a gift they made and wrapped themselves and their teachers gave them a gift as well. Micah made us the most beautiful ornament- we have proudly hung it on the tree. I will have to get a picture of it to share with you all.
Well...knowing that morning isn't far off- I should try to sleep a bit before Addie wakes me to play. Goodness knows that I need the rest.
I hope that you all are able to relax a bit more than I and that you are enjoying this holiday season :)
