The Voices Within Me

has finally let up here in NE Ohio. All total, we measured around 14-15 inches in our yard- and no that is not with drifts or such. (it is interesting to see the tv reports- some say 8 some say 10 and others 15... even last nite...they were saying it was freezing rain at one point when it was a white out- shows that the radar measurements and such are not always correct) We had grass showing before the storm hit so we really got hammered this time. 24 hours later and our roads still aren't cleared (Tim thought he could go the 1 min to the grocery store safely and was sliding and spinning) and now the bitter cold has returned. Micah has been off of school all this week and is closed Monday for President's Day- we are all getting a little antsy here. Thankfully Tim took Micah to the church for awhile and he was able to run around the gym to at least burn off some energy- must have helped b/c he took over a two hour nap (and might still be sleeping if we hadn't sent Addie up to wake him)
So the question remains...when is winter over?
