This week brings about a new year of life for two people that are special to me and I just want to give a note of recognition for each of them.
First, my brother Matt, turned 23 (oh my- can he be that old now?!?) on Wednesday. Although we have had our differences, he is still my little brother and always will be. He has accomplished a lot at a young age...a stint in the Navy (and surviving being stationed in Iceland- brrrr!), getting married, having two wonderful boys, owning a home, and being employed at a great company (that is also where my Dad works). He has a lot of wonderful qualities that have helped him through life and if you know/ knew him- you would realize how much he just loves people and is often there to lend a helping hand. Though it is hard to believe he is this old already- he has a lot to be thankful for and I for one am thankful to have him as my brother. Happy Birthday Matt!
Secondly, My sweet Timmy Boy turns the big 33 today. Yikes!! Can it really be so? Micah is so excited- he think that since he is "3" and Daddy is "33" then they are almost the same age ;) LOL
I don't even know where to begin with Tim. There is so much I could say but inevitably I would forget something and there is no way to encompass all he is in a short blog post. He is my other half- the piece that completes me. As corny as it may sound, I know that he truly was God's plan for my life. He is all that I am not, and raises me to levels I never thought I could accomplish. He is a wonderful Daddy and Micah and Addie absolutely adore him. My love for him grows stronger and stronger each day and I am proud to call him my husband. When we first met, a life like we share seemed all but impossible, but we have shown that Love truly can super-cede and things are possible when you believe and your love will carry you through.
I love you Tim and hope that this day is special for you. I know it may not be all you imagined, but I hope that my, and the kids love and attention will let you know how much we truly do care and love you. Thanks for allowing me to share in your life and walk along the path that "He" has laid out before us.
and with that...
I bid you farewell and hope that your days are all filled with love and happiness as well.
