This is what commonly happens after we get home from church. Today was no exception ; ) Addie couldn't even make it until lunch- she crawled up and was out within minutes of walking through the door.
After their quick cat-nap, we had a quick lunch of BLTs and later on went outside to enjoy the almost 70 degree temps we are having. Oh how this Mommy is ready for summer!! The kids are definitely fed up with being inside for so many days in a row... and Micah has been on his absolute worst behavior. Somedays I really just don't know how to reach him and discipline him in a way that will make a difference. Today (in the last few minutes in fact) is one of those days unfortunately. Right now he is in his room and he will be spending quite a bit of time there this evening.
I think Addie and I are going to head out onto the front porch after this little einstein show is over. She loves playing with the sand table and we might as well enjoy the sun until it's last rays of the day right? Until tomorrow...
Ok- it isn't tomorrow BUT- we had fun outside this evening and I thought I would share a few pics of the kids since I haven't been posting many recently...
( and yes... her eyes look two different colors here- NO clue why- must have been how the sun was hitting her right eye- b/c it isn't really green and I didn't do any post processing that would have changed one eye color )
