call them what you will...mayflies, canadian soldiers, a nuisance, disgusting... but what they were was all over EVERYTHING!! Thousands, no, millions of them- everwhere. Eww Eww Eww
Anything light colored was covered with hundreds of bugs... and I mean hundereds. People were seen with them all over their clothing- almost as if they had attached them for extra adornment, except that no one wanted these things anywhere near them.
While I may never fully understand what it was like during Biblical plaques, I can imagine at least a glimpse of them after seeing how these creatures just invaded our lives. I can still hear the "Crunch Crunch Crunch" as people walked down the road, crunching their small skeletal bodies as they laid like ground covering over the streets...
