Sometime early spring 07, I received an email from a company called "Simple Scrapbooks" requesting one of my digital scrapbook pages for their newest magazine called, "Digital Scrapbooks". It was a VERY last minute thing... like I had 24 hours to respond- LOL. Of course I was excited beyond belief and immediately sent off my page to their editor and more or less forget about it since I never heard anything back from them. I honestly never thought I would see it in print...
Fast forward to this past week. The newest issue of "Digital Scrapbooks" hit the market and lo and behold, in the August/ September issue, on page 40, there was my sweet page of Addie- on it's own page even...
Being that I was on a mission trip when I found out that the magazine had hit the market (thanks Anna!!) I had nowhere to get a copy until I returned home. The kids and I went right to Borders the day after we returned to get our own copy :) When I was showing Addie at borders, another woman was looking over my shoulder and couldn't believe that Addie was in there and kept asking questions about her
I felt so proud!! hee hee!
So... fast forward to tonite. I get an IM from my friend Melissa and she congratulates me on having Addie's picture in CK magazine. I was like, "what are you talking about?" b/c I really had no idea. I ran to grab my copy, only to realize it wasn't the newest issue. So... being the great friend that she is, Melissa grabbed her camera and snapped a pic, uploaded and linked me... somewhat worried that it wasn't Addie at that point. ;) Lo and behold, it is indeed her again- my same LO was used to advertise the entire Digital Scrapping magazine!! It appears on page 90 of the September issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine. I had NO idea about this... I am still in awe of the one in the other magazine- let alone this. How stinking cool and what a great end to a week :)

I hope that my excitement isn't too obnoxious... if it is... I am sorry, but this is probably a once in a lifetime thing for me and I think I have a right to be proud! :)
