She must be a princess

The kids and I just finished story time... Micah read a Biscuit book and then by Addie's request he read her a princess book as well. Anyway... on one page is said something like, "A Princess likes to dress up" and Micah stops, looks at Addie and says, "Addie must be a princess b/c she likes to dress up, right Mommy?" LOL. If that is a qualification, she surely fits the bill ;) He is over reading the same story to her again but this time he is having her repeat it as he reads it. It is actually quite cute... and Addie is eating it up.

The last week has been a blur. I can't even remember all that we did, but somehow it passed quickly. We have been enjoying the weather... I think we cooked out all but maybe 1 nite. I am already dreading the next three days of cold/ rain that is forecast... I have no idea how I will keep the kids in the house.

Both kids had swimming yesterday and although Micah wasn't sure about starting again, he did great. Following that I had a little get together with some other L'ville Moms at Tammy's house then a prom photo shoot and finally got to relax with friends throughout the evening. Although it was crazy go-go-go, it was a great end to the week. I can't believe this week will take us into the month of May, it seem impossible and yet the fact can't be denied. Of course that just means one less month I have to change my "reusable" calendar since it is still on March. If I plan it just right, I only have to change the name of the month and not have to mess with the actual days ;) Some might call it lazy though I prefer to call it resourceful.
On that note, I could go change it now and be ahead of the game... or I can just let it go and see if anyone else notices we are frozen in the month of March again.
