I am not sure what takes up my time these days but it seems as though I have less and less of it! Everytime I think I have free time, I am shot back to reality and presented with a huge list of things to do and accomplish... it never ends!!
In between finishing up end of the year things with Micah (sniff sniff... preschool is more or less officially over- he only has a party left and it isn't even at school :( ), proofing the wedding from last weekend, getting out prom orders, etc.. etc... I have been trying to run, plant a garden and spend a little time having fun. I have been able to get in 3 runs each of the past two weeks so hopefully my body is getting into the mindset that running is good :)
On the flower garden front, everything is in the ground and mulched and 5 days later it is still looking green... I should probably take a picture soon just in case- you never know with me, I seem to have a black thumb. I hope it stays healthy... I would hate to have spent so much money on something that will die.
On the nicer days (which haven't been too numerous) the kids have enjoyed spending time outside playing on the trampoline. I still have it in me to do flips and such- I love that thing almost as much as them. It almost makes me feel like a kid again... until I wake up the next day all sore and have to gingerly make my way to find the icy hot to slather all over...
Micah is all ready to be in kindergarten but it is starting to hit him that school is just about over and that means he probably won't see most of those kids again as they will all be at different schools and some even in different districts. I think he will most be affected by not seeing his teacher anymore... I think he has a small crush on her ;) Hopefully we will be able to arrange some play dates with some of his close friends... I sort of feel bad that this chapter of our lives is coming to a close.

It is hard to believe that Addie is going to be 3 in about 3 weeks. She is suddenly growing up before my eyes. In the past week or so, her vocabulary has greatly increased (she talked a TON before but now she is using big words and different combinations like... "Mama, don't you think my dress is absolutely beautiful" or "I need my privacy Mama, please close the door" LOL Along with the deeper vocab. she also has started these horrible looks... looks that I fear I will be seeing a lot in her teen years. I finally was able to capture a few of them with the camera yesterday and I thought I would share so you all can be a part of the world I live in everyday ;)
Thankfully there is usually a smile that follows which makes everything right again... usually anyways ;)
