When Life Comes at you fast

forget Visa and put your trust in God and allow Him to take the reigns. Sometimes that is all I can do ...
Since the last update we have found out that Tim's mom has a tumor on her ovary which needs to be immediately removed. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning and while she is under, they will take a piece of the tumor to pathology to determine if it is cancerous or not. We still aren't sure what it would mean if it is... but I do know that they would complete the hysterectomy instead of just doing a partial.
For those of you who don't know, we just lost my FIL last year to a sudden heartattack which complicates this surgery to a degree... she lives at home alone and of course that isn't really feasible when recovering so... I will be taking Addie and staying there as needed.
I am trying to keep a sunny disposition but at some point I have to wonder... how much more can be thrown at our family? I mean we have my FIL passing away last year, Addie's medical problems, my dad's knee replacement, my brother's cancer scare and now this... I pray there is an end in sight.

On a brighter note... if you read Tim's blog you will have already read that he and I completed a 2 mile race this Saturday. I completed it- had to walk for like 5 secs. to fix the shirt I had taken off (had a long sleeve one over my tee b/c it was chilly and rainy) and regroup for the final hill but I finished faster than I had planned and that was with rain and cold. So... I am already looking ahead to more races this summer ;)

Micah had his spring show today at school... "Ms. Spider's Tea Party" They had a little cookie reception and all got up to sing songs from the year. The little place settings were their handprints and little tags for each guest. Micah has had a great year at school and we will REALLY miss his teacher next year. She has taken Micah under her wing and really helped him thrive. I pray that we can continue to have wonderful experiences like this. I have video of everything... just has to get uploaded ;) I will be sure to share when I do.

I know there were numerous other things I wanted to blog about but they have blown out of my mind just like the dandelion seedlings as the dance across the yard while I type. On that note, I should probably go inside before Addie is blown away by the wind. So until next time...
