Addie has been quite the ham recently and I keep forgetting to write them down before I forget them so here are a few that I am still remembering...
The other nite during bedtime prayer...
"God is good God is great God is strong. Jesus some people sleep with their eyes shut but I sleep with mine open okay? Amen"
When going to get lunch after gymnastics today... We were going to go to taco bell but she wanted McDonalds. I told her if we went there then she wasn't getting a happy meal so she replies...
"I don't want a happy meal Mommy. How about a sad meal instead"
We drove up to Aurora Farms (an outlet shopping center) on an impromptu trip and she was suddenly really excited... the reason being b/c she thought that was where Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty for you non-princess experts) lived.
She asks whether every nite is a "soool" nite (school) b/c she knows on weekends she gets to sleep in Micah's room and looks forward to that all week.
Along with the "soool" thing she tells us she has green days (what Micah has on good days at school) and asks if she can get a reward (Micah gets to choose a prize when he gets 5 in a row)
I am sure there are so many others but like I said, I always forget to write them down and I forget them by the time I sit to write. She has become quite the character though...
In other news, Addie began gymnastics today and did a really really good job. They started of with warm ups and that girl can already do the splits!! I was impressed! After warmups they moved to the bars and she is sooo tiny on those. They hung from them and did leg raises to touch their toes on the bar (she was able to do it with no help! She has tough stomach muscles!) and practiced holding themselves up on the bars and a few other exercises. After the bars they moved to the beam and I was amazed they went right to the high one. Addie was a bit nervous when she first got up but did great on the 2nd and 3rd time. After high they did low and she did that all alone and never fell off. All of this took the majority of class so they didn't get to do any floor which Addie wasn't too happy about but she is already talking about going back next week. She still insists that she is going to be an Olympian when she is a "big big girl" (she insists that she is already a big girl)
Micah started swimming today- and seemed to do really well. I hope that he can soon progress out of the level he is in b/c Addie is now in that level as well and I just don't think that would work out very well. He wasn't nervous like last year so I am hoping this is a step towards progression :) He also had soccer pictures today... can't wait to get those back :)
Tomorrow is the children's programming kick-off at church so my day is busy busy busy. I hope that all goes well... I am sort of nervous but trying to push that behind and just have fun :) We are having an ice cream party so honestly- what can go wrong? ;)

Aww she says the cutest things! And sounds like both she and Micah are doing really well with gymnastics and swimming - that is awesome!
Hope everything went GREAT with the kick-off at church, and even you got to enjoy some ice cream! ;)
