So, although we just officially "got the word out" this past week we have known since the day after Labor Day... although I suspected it a bit earlier. So far I am feeling well, waves of nausea here and there and extreme exhaustion but nothing all that debilitating thus far. Hopefully it stays that way. My official due date is May 5th though I am guessing I will actually deliver in between April 25 and May 1st due to a repeat C-section. So... that makes me right about nine weeks (which means baby is the size of a grape if you are wondering)
We had a bit of a scare last week... some spotting off and on but after an ultrasound, we know that baby is VERY active and measuring right to the exact day it should be. Everything looked great... I am just barred from running 2 miles while pregnant from thus point on ;)
As you can imagine, the kids are UBER excited- both are hoping for a sister (Addie so that she can play princess with her and Micah b/c he informed us that he doesn't like brothers) although Micah is now hoping for one of each (which it isn't unless one was hiding and considering how active this little bean was...) So... I can honestly say that I go back and forth every day about which boy/ girl and find that either will be completely perfect for our family. Either a) a boy means Addie gets to be the only little princess around here or b) Addie has a playmate since she will be closet in age. If I can make an early prediction, I am going with it being a girl for numerous reasons. But... if I go by the Chinese gender chart (which was actually right for both other pregnancies) it is a boy. So... I guess we will now either right before or right after Christmas (yes we are finding out. there are enough surprises in life that I don't need another that doesn't need to be any longer than 20 weeks...just my opinion of course) So...
In other news, the kids are doing well in everything they are involved with right now. Micah is getting better and better at soccer, excelling at school and Addie is still loving gymnastics and preschool. Life is fun... couldn't ask for much better.
Micah has now decided he was to be a "joke teller" for Halloween and was practing on us in the car tonite. Watch out world... here are some of his one liners:
Q: "What happens when a flag hits a church?"
A: "The world will be smashed"
Q: "What happens when you touch fire?"
A: "Your hand gets burned"
Q: "What happens when you turn off a light?"
A: "You are in the dark"
And you get the idea... I hope he has a back up gig up his sleeve...
So that is us the past week or so. I finally got out all my fall stuff, started burning fall tarts and am just enjoying the cooler weather and freshness that autumn brings. Now to go get some pumpkins, a mum and some fresh apples and cider and the world will be alright :) Love this time of year.
I am exhausted and still have editing to complete so until next time...

April 27th is always a good day! ;) lol
I thought that the 3rd pregnancy was worse then the first two. Of course you know the reasonings of why. But as far as the beginning the exhaustion and nausea was so much worse. I was always tired and was sick over the littlest smells.
12:46 PM
Aw, congrats again, Jen! So excited for you. Hopefully the nausea will pass soon... my mom's trick is to slice a lemon, sprinkle with a little salt and suck on it. My sister and SIL have found it to be helpful during their current pregnancies.
LOL and Micah wanting to be a "joke teller"... hilarious what kids think of!!
10:47 AM
i had a feeling you knew when we were talking...i thought of so much other stuff after we hung up...like did you ever get miss perry's package...i got mine and she said she needed your address so i emailed it to her. i think a little girl would be fun for addie too, but also i think having a boy as the youngest member of the family is so sweet...the whole "mama's boy" and everything :)
11:48 AM
I did know... and almost told you but you never brought up us trying so I let it go at that ;) LOL. If you would have directed it the right way...
I DID get the package- I had actually thought about that ummm this summer I think. How interesting to read!!
2:09 PM
How unfair! :) I couldn't come right out and ask, b/c what if it was a "touchy" subject or something! my package and writing in it was almost creepy...long story :) i was really into you too b/c i kept talking about how we were best friends etc...well, it kind of sucks that we didnt' have longer to talk-i can't catch up with you in a short (relatively) phone call! We need some serious time! we should start IM'ing again. that always kept me up to date etc....it was fast and nice b/c we could multi task at the same time :)
3:50 PM
aww :( You totally need to fill me in on the package... LOL. I think it is so cool she remembered.
I have the same IM as always and am usually on at nite as I am catching up on photo editing. I will look for ya! :)
