is having his first book published :) Our church did this project called the "Talent Quest" this year in which we could sign up for $5 in "talents" and try to turn that into a larger profit (see Matthew 25: 14-30 for a deeper understanding). Anyway... when Micah heard about it he was SO excited and wanted to join in which we fully supported. He had a great idea to write and illustrate a book (yes- his own idea) but we kept putting it off and off and... well you get the picture. Anyway... we finally finished and although the talent quest is officially over, we can still turn in our profits and have them counted. Micah's book is finally published and 30 copies are on the way to our house. I am posting here in hopes that some of you might like to support this (the money will go to help send kids to summer camps) and also support Micah in his first effort. He really did 95% of the work here... Tim helped on a few pictures and we had to structure the story into more cohesive sentences and of course upload but this is all his idea and work. Unfortunately we don't make a lot of profit but it is fun and a learning experience none-the-less. There is a print option and a PDF version... with the latter being a big less expensive and gaining more profit. Micah is excited to see where all this goes... he is already planning on a second book ;)
