The Voices Within Me

I still can't believe today marks one month since Silas entered our lives but every calendar I check tells me that it is the 27th which means he is indeed one month old. We all love this little guy SO much and can't imagine him not being here as a part of us. I love to just sit and cuddle with him as I realize how quickly this time will pass (post tomorrow on the fact I now have a first grader and a 2nd year preschooler...). He is a pretty good sleeper... waking up between 1-3 times most nites which is doable for me :) but unfortunately he is still spitting up quite a bit... I plan on talking to the Dr. about that at his appt. next week- I hate seeing him deal with that 20+ times a day :( The kids are loving the fact he is really starting to watch them and I think he is close to smiling while he is awake... a corner turns up but it isn't full yet... I will be sure to share when it is.
My guess is that he is between 10 and 11 lbs... we will find out next week- but I am sure he is growing even with the spit up. I guess that happens when a baby eats every 2-3 hours ; ) (speaking of... it is literlly 2 hours exactly since his last feeding and he is stirring...) We are getting close to outgrowing newborn clothing (yes- even though my kids are big they have to wear newborn for awhile as they have stumpy legs ;) ) which kind of makes me misty eyed as I can truly see how much he has grown. I don't remember time moving so quickly with the other two...
