I remember back to when I was just a little girl- prob. not much older than Addie and having those friends that I always wanted to be around and do things with. I am SO happy that my children are also making friendships like those- hopefully ones that will last a lifetime. Addie had a little birthday playdate today and had four little girls over to our house. Although it was crazy at times (ie... me and five little girls plus Silas... alone... fingerpaint (what was I thinking?!?), princess crown designing, trampoline, snacks, ice cream cake, bubbles and the park) I loved almost every minute of it (one little accident made it a bit crazy for about 10 mins or so as I tried to keep the other girls away so she wasn't embarrassed) for Addie was totally in her element and had joy all over her face. Little 3 and 4 yr olds are so much fun : ) esp. little girls when they get together. Lots of giggles and hugs as we all were there for my (not so little) girl. Only a few more days of being three... seriously- where did the time go?

i was thinking a similar thought-that one day you can bring out this picture and all the girls will be amazed to see how much everyone has changed (or stayed the same!) very cute!
