'just running on fumes these days. Life went into full speed when we came home from vacation and hasn't yet paused for me to catch my breath. We had a WONDERFUL time in NC and then Lakeside... always nice to spend time away with family : ) After coming home I jumped right into 4x a week photo sessions, soccer practice, HUGE backpack festival at our church (300+ bkpks handed out!) planning for fall activities at church, enjoying Silas learning to giggle and roll, and getting the kids ready for school.
Silas can now officially roll both ways and LOVES to giggle outloud at random noises you might be making in his direction. He is continuing to thrive growth wise even though he still spits up 20+ times a day. We all love that little guy more than we could have imagined and he has two wonderful siblings that dote on him from the moment they rise in the morning until they go to bed at nite.
Micah went in to meet his teacher tonite and thankfully found out he know three kids in class (he went to a different school last year...) and was excited to see that they had more Apple computers than his class did last year. His desk is right in front of the teacher's- LOL. Hopefully that means he will be on his best behavior! His teacher seems nice- I hope it is a good year for him- he can't wait to go back!
Micah (and Tim) also started soccer practice but somehow it always seems to rain on the nites of their practices (tonite there was even a tornado warning- glad they got us out of there early!) Team seems to be ok... hope things come together for them before games begin though since they haven't had as many practices as some other teams may have gotten in.
Addie goes to meet her teacher on the first of September and then starts the third. We really don't need too much of an introduction as she already knows both of them since Micah had them and she already LOVES the one (and I am pretty sure the feeling is mutual) I fear that her cuteness will blind them to her little 'tude she tries to pull... that girl is going to be a handful! I have recently decided that she talks just to hear herself talk these days. I swear, she NEVER stops! She makes friends wherever we go... from shopping to the park and even with adults at band shows... somehow, everyone seems to love her. ARgH!
Well... I have a million and two photos to edit and shouldn't have even taken time to write this but wanted to let anyone that still reads (if there are any) that I am indeed alive and kicking.
I thought I would share a few quick photos for even further proof ;) Enjoy!

I followed your link from LM - what a great blog! I can't believe how big Silas is, what a gorgeous boy! Your other two are growing up so fast too. The spitting up will get better. . . we're finally down to most days Isaiah doesn't spit up at all, thank God! A few months ago we couldn't see past the load of receiving blankets every second day. Prayers that you see some improvements soon with Silas too!
