it has been almost a month. BUT... it hasn't been a month and I promise I am back :)
So... what has kept me away? In short...
*Thanksgiving. Great time with family. Watching Macy's parade with kids at home... seeing their excitement when Santa came at the end. Tim's family on T-day... lots of food, lots of laughter, lots of kids.
Black Friday shopping @ 3am. I think I am still recovering ;) BUT... we did get the tvs we went for (not for Tim and I but his sister and Mom) Always a good time.
My parents Thanksgiving Saturday. Tasty turkey and lots of sides. Shopping... Micah playing bells and singing @ church.
*Photography. WOW. I am been UBER busy this season. I have had a TON of new clients, tons of pictures, orders... WOW.
*School. Kids, not me ;) Busy busy busy! I help @ Micah's school once a week and I LOVE being involved. I wish I would have started earlier this year- I realized how much I missed being back in the classroom from last year.
*Gymnastics. Ad is doing GREAT! She was moved up early from the last class two sessions ago. We just found out she has already passed this class and is moving up into the first Progressive class. SO happy for her! She is amazing!
*Soccer. Yes, just when I thought it was over... Micah plays on an indoor team. They are sort of the mismatched rugrats but they are having fun!
*Work. Crazy busy year end wrap up. Christmas party and planning for next year. Christmas outreach event that was a success.
*Church. Between retreats, girl's Bible study, Sunday School, nursery, and everything in between... sometimes it would be easier to live there ;)
*Silas. My boy is on the move. He crawled two lengths forward last nite- and promptly tried to topple a tv tray on top of himself. Thanksfully Daddy moved fast! He is the happiest baby and just such a joy to be around. He has been teething for months- keep thinking we are getting closer but still no sight of a breakthrough. He is clapping, saying, "Mama and Dada" has two big ole dimples, crazy hair and rolls you can butter ;)
*Shopping. Thankfully... tomorrow is the end of that. Belden Village+ Christmas= craziness!
and probably so so much more! In a nutshell... you can see why I have been away. I miss writing and as I hope to one day archive all I have written, I hope to jump back in now that most of the craziness has passed. Hope to follow up with pictures in the near future so be on the lookout! : )
