The Voices Within Me

If you are a Mom, you probably have had your share of mispronounced words. I happen to LOVE this little quirks and am always sad to see the kids learn the correct grammar (I know... bad Mommy here but who needs grammar rules when you are young?!?) I guess for me, it just lets me hold on to a little piece of their childhood that is already passing by too quickly and when it is gone, it is another step towards the adolescent world that I am NOT ready for.
Anyway... tonite I made "ravioli's and sauce" (and garlic bread) for dinner. Being that it was another beautiful day, dinner was later (kids were at the park, Tim and I took turns running...) and the kids were getting impatient at the hold up. Micah decided to create his own diner and made a sign complete with the special of the day, "Chessy Grabinollys" (even ran a special pricing deal) and hung it in the kitchen in hopes it would speed along the process. I always knew he said it that way but I had no idea he would spell it that way as well :) I giggled and made sure to snap a photo as I know the next time we have this particular dinner and I ask him whether he wants more "Grabinollys" he will give me a blank stare and have no idea what I am talking about. I hope to hold onto this little mannerism as long as I can...

*I would love to hear what words your children mispronounce... others favorites of mine are "basketti", "Gorilla Cheese", and "Majamas"
