The Voices Within Me

It has been a busy last week but such is life around our house. From Revival Services 2 weeks ago to Palm Sunday services, to K-scope to Maundy Thursday and then Easter Sunday... I have seemingly been at the church more than my own house ;) We have had beautiful weather (high 80s in April... in Ohio?!?) and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful Easter Sunday. Following service we went down to visit Tim's sister and have Easter dinner together. It was a nice change as we stayed home last year due to my "nearing the end" pregnancy :) The kids had a great Easter egg hunt (Silas even found a few) and it was just a nice time to relax away from home for a day.

We woke up Monday morning and headed over to Pittsburgh and made our first visit to IKEA. WOW. Actually, that doesn't even cover it. Imagine like 3 2 story Sams clubs all put together with little rooms and tons and TONS of eye candy. Oh- throw in a nifty cafe and HUGE children's play area and that gives a small glimpse of IKEA. We found some fun furniture items to try and give a bit of versatility to our home and have already thought of numerous things we wished we would have gotten (which just means a return trip will be in the future)

Today was another GORGEOUS day and all of my flowers are sprouting from the earth giving me hope of the spring/ summer to come. I have actually worn shorts 2x already and wasn't even slightly chilled- totally crazy! Of course, being that we live in Ohio, it is supposed to snow by week's end but I at least have the hope that summer is in sight : ) The kids have less than 2 months of school to go and then let the fun begin!
