I never realized

that being a "soccer mom" would become my identity during the fall of every year. Indeed it has and I am honestly LOVING every moment of it. We are wrapping up the season with Ad having two more games and Micah having one reg. season and then a tournament. It looks like Micah's team will wind up in first place (Go Tigers!) and Ad's team (we don't do official games and such) ended up undefeated (we had three wins and the rest were ties) It has been a blast both being a coach and being a fan and I am sad to see the seasons end. I am already looking ahead to next year and hoping that both kids will still want to play.

Other than soccer, life seems pretty mundane. School, volunteering, church events and so on and little time is left for much else. Si and I are having a great time in our few hours alone each day and he and I are enjoying the one on one time. He is quite the little ham- he can make even the grumpiest person smile with his goofy faces and little jigs he likes to preform. He is still as ornery as ever and talking up a storm. In the last week I would bet he has added 12 new words to his vocab... two being gamma and papa (which made some certain people esp. excited!) I still can't believe he is almost 18 months old... some days I would love to go back to the little newborn and relive all of those firsts and then others I realize what an amazing little boy he is becoming and that I really wouldn't change it for anything.
