As many of you know, I love to scrapbook. Well, at least I love to collect scrapbook items ;) I really do have a passion for this hobby- it is just getting inspired and making time to work on projects. Recently I have been creating kits for ebay to bring in extra money- which has been going sort of well. I have sold all but one kit- maybe not for the price that I wanted- but at least they sold.
Besides doing kits, I have now dappled in the digital scrapbooking world- which I feel fits right in with my love of photography. There are so many kits and pieces out there waiting for someone to create with them- the possibilities really are endless.
If you are into the scrapbooking world at all, you will know that many magazines take viewer submissions and publish them in their pages. I have submitted to so many of these and still haven't ever gotten a call. Sometimes I wonder if my stuff really is as good as I think. I have been on two design teams and was a finalist on one recently- but why haven't the magazines jumped at something? No, I don't create just for seeing my name in print- but that would be really nice and just give me that boost of confidence that I always seem to lack.
I thought that today I might share a few of my recent digital creations since I haven't been too productive in the hands on world. Feel free to comment, critque, do whatever helpful thing you please, I know I need to hear the hard stuff sometimes to be able to grow past the staleness that we all get into. Hope you enjoy these and find some sort of inspiration in these pieces.
