So today is the last day that I am 24. YIKES. Where did all the time go? I swear that it seems like yesterday that I was a nervous freshman in high school, hoping to find friends to sit with at lunch. Suddenly, here I am now, married with one child and another less than two weeks from birth. Is this the life I had pictured for myself?
I would like to say yes even though there are things that I of course would like to have done differently. I love the life that I live- I know that God has truley blessed me and my family and I pray that I can live up to all He has in store for me these next 25, 50 years or however many there may be.
I read an inspiring quote this morning off of Oh My Blog, that I wanted to share here since it touched me and inspired me to live my life not as one who knows about God, but one who truely knows God. Hope you too find this inspiration.
"Quit telling your God how big your mountain is, and start telling your mountain how big your God is."
edited to add... another cool Blog reading this morning. Here is another thought to ponder. This was written by none other than my husband after his walk through the cool misty fog that has enveloped the town this morning. "Maybe misty mornings are God's way of telling us "be clean. Embrace the cleansing power of forgiveness.
God is speaking this morning...are we listening?
