Less than 24 hours from now and I should be in surgery having my baby girl. YIKES!! Where did the time go? It seems like yesterday we were hearing the ultrasound tech tell us that it was a girl and now here we are on the eve of her birth.
I am trying not to think about the events of tomorrow too much- I start to get nervous and worry about all of the little things. I am so excited to meet our little Addison but yet so nervous about what life will be like with two. I already love Micah so much- and although I know I will love her just the same- it is so hard to imagine sharing that love at times. This is the little girl I have dreamed of since I myself was young so I am sure that in no time my heart will be stolen away.
I think we are as ready as we can be right now. Things are packed, house is more or less clean, Micah has been talked to over and over about what is happening- I hope everything is covered. I will surely miss Micah but I can't wait for him to come and see his sister :) He picked out a cute little stuffed musical butterfly to give her in the hospital. We have a few suprises for him as well- we don't want him to feel left out of all of the fun.
I am sure I might write a bit more later- but for now, I am off to spend time with the little man. I am taking all the cuddles and kisses I can get today.
