So this morning was my follow up Dr. appt. What fun that was ;) I had an X-ray at 10 and then an appt. to review them at 11:30. Tim stayed home to be with the kids and I went off all alone again :( Anyways...here is a funny from this morning.
I go in for my X-ray in those lovely hospital gowns and am told to get on the table. I am positioned and I hear the intern (I assume that was what he was) talking to the technition. I strain to hear what they are saying and I realize that the head guy was telling the intern how my bra was still on and he needed to ask me to remove it. (I was told I could leave all undergarmets on- guess that woman was wrong). Anyway...a few secs. later I hear a female saying, gosh- I will go and tell her. LOL. Poor guy! He was a good looking young guy and I bet he just felt like dying at the thought of having to say that to me. The female came out and asked me to remove it and then went back and told the male intern that she was finished and he could resume his duties. LOL I thought it was quite funny! The rest of the X-ray was uneventful except for the fact that Mercy hospital just seems so dirty to me- blech! I am so glad I get to deliver my children at Aultman :)
After the Xray I headed to the Dr. office and went in to discuss the findings. Things seemed to have passed but there is still a bit of irritation. They are sending the stone away for evaluation and having me do a 24 hour catch to measure output, and to determine if there are any raised levels. When I drop that off in the next week or so, they will also draw more blood. I swear- I need to have a plug installed- I have had so much blood taken this last year between this and pregnancy. I can't wait until it is all over.
Moving on to more pleasant things...
On the scrapbook site I frequent, I am involved with a photo of the day contest. All you do is try to take some sort of picture every day and then post it :) Easy enough. I have made it 3 days so far- and I decided I am going to share them here on my blog. The barn picture I posted the other day was for October 1 and I am going to post October 2 and today's here in this post. I am not guaranteeing that everything will be on here the day I take it- but I will attempt to post them as often as possible :) I hope that you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy taking them.
On that note...here are the two latest pictures and I hope to see some updates on some "peoples" blogs- you know who you are! Love ya!
