b/c i am tired and really want to read a bit before falling asleep.
yesterday addie had her 4 month appt. she is now 16 lbs 5 ozs. and 25 1/2 in. long. she is growing like a weed although she is much smaller than micah at this age. unfortunately the appt. meant two more shots- which she actually did great with- until about two mins. post shot. nothing could calm the poor girl down- she finally exhausted herself and slept most of the day away. i so hate shot days :(
nothing else new is really going on around here. i may start painting the bedroom tomorrow- i just haven't been in the mood to tackle such a big project again so soon. the new dishwasher was installed today- and it runs so nicely :) i love the sanitize option- no more boiling those darn bottles when i use them- just pop those babies in the dishwasher and hit sanitize. woo hoo!
it has been rainy and grey here this week- highs have only been in the mid 40s. brrr! weather sure did change fast- unfortunately it is right at peak autumn which means most of my fall plans went right out the window. just a bit too wet and chilly out for me unfortunately. i do hope it warms a bit for sunday otherwise i am not even sure about trick-or-treating this year :(
i still haven't heard any new news from carla so i am assuming things are going well with her on bedrest. i think i will give her a call tomorrow and see how she is doing. it is so hard to believe that in just a short time there will be another baby in our group of friends. our sunday school class is making sure we are doing our part to populate the world ;)
on that note i think i am off to sleep. i am going to close with a picture of my desktop. i always wonder what people look at when they turn on the screen so i thought i would throw out mine. if you too want to do this- just hit the prt sc button on your keyboard. open paint and then go to edit and then paste. it should pop right up. after that- save it as a jpeg and then upload to your favorite photo site. if you want to share- post a link in my comment section- i would love to see other people's backgrounds.
