Wizard of Oz

This year, well actually wayyyyy back to last year, my mom and I decided that Micah was going as the Tin Man and whatever our baby happened to be would go as another Wizard of Oz character. I was so excited when we found out we were having a girl and I was going to be able to have a little Dorothy this year. Fast forward to the beginning of this fall...my friend and I went shopping and saw the cutest little lion costume at TCP. She hadn't bought her son a costume yet so I told her that she should get that one if she liked it so that he could be part of the theme with my kids :) She decided to purchase it and it hit us both that we could ask our other friend Carla if her son had a costume yet and if not, if they would want to have him dress up as a scarcrow. Lo and behold, they were costumeless as well and thought that a scarecrow would be perfect.
Fast forward to yesterday- all of the kids got together at our house and we attempted to get some pictures. It was mayhem- thats for sure :) Four kids all under 3- lol- one that can't sit yet, one that wants to crawl off, one that was a bit shy and afraid, and one that was ornery and just wanted to run off. It was quite a sight...The tin man running for the road, the scarecrow crying and clinging to his mommy, the lion beating his chest and eating his tail and little Dorothy just sitting admist all the action wondering what was going on. Looking back- I am always going to laugh at the thought of trying to pose them for pictures. I luckily was able to snap some cute pictures- though only 1 group one really turned out well. I am going to post quite a few here but there are a lot more from the hayride and trick-or-treating up in my yahoo pictures.
Hope you enjoy :)
