So at the prompting of Tim, I too am going to honor the "saints" in my life, those whom have helped me along my path of life and made an impact that still stays with me today.
First would be my former Pastor and his wife, Bob and Ginny Mathias. I don't know if they know how much they meant to me, but if it weren't for them, I am not that I would be where I am today. They were there for me through those rough teen years as that little "voice" in my head- for some reason I just felt so loved for and cared for by them. They opened their house and hearts to so many in our community and their love of the Lord just swelled in everything they did. I sadly have lost most contact with them, but even though distance has seperated us, their impact on my life and spiritual walk won't ever fade.
Another more recent "saint" would be Jan Heasley- whom is actually an old friend of Tim's family that I came in contact through CYF camp. This woman is an awesome prayer warrior and just such a living example of a godly woman. I had the awesome experience of spending some time with her studying the Bible and sharing our lives. I really wish we would have continued our deepening friendship but unfortunately life got in the way and I haven't been able to get in contact for quite some time now. I think about her often and pray that things are going well in her life. I hope that someday we can continue what we began for I felt as though she was one of a few people I have met that can truly understand me and what it is like to be a young mom married to a person in ministry. I thank God for the times we have shared and the model she was and still is to me.
I now challenge all of you to also think about that person in your life that helped shape who you are today. I am not talking about just a good friend, but someone whom helped shape you into the person you are today. Take time and write out what they mean to you and think about letting them know just how much they truly mean.

i think you should totally take a leap and try your best to get in touch with those you speak of! I am BIG on keeping in touch, you'd be amazed at how much relief it brings to get into contact with an old confidante :) good luck!

I sure am glad that God used Bob and I as a positive role models for you. I keep in my Bible the good-bye letters you wrote us when God called us from Thompson to serve in Bucyrus. I read "voices from within" almost every day and I want you to know how proud I am of you and Tim. I am so glad God put you in our path. Continue living for Jesus. You are a great mom not to mention an excellent photographer.
