Christmas in PA

Yesterday was the annual Christmas in PA get together. It is a crazy day! We woke up early and got there a little after noon- being that we were told everyone was leaving home at 8- making them all get there somewhere around 11. HA- we got there and neither my parents or brother were there yet! All I can say is- they must be reading their watches in Pacific time ;)
After everyone finally arrived (all 58 of them!!) we had dinner and then waited for the rest of the festivities to begin. Around 5 the kids did their gift exchange and then we were all anxiously awaiting Santa to fly in on his sleigh. A little after 7:00, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived, bringing with them a gift for each child. Most of the little ones cried and the older ones hammed it up for the camera.
After the gifts were all opened, we had to make a quick exit- being that we had over a 3 hour drive ahead of us and kids that were sleepy/ cranky. Addie was not a fan of going into her seat, but by the time we were out of town, she was fast asleep as was Micah. There are some funny and not so funny stories about our drive home (woman clawing at her window, animals, etc...) but I will let Tim write about those :) If you want to check out what I am talking about, I am sure he would love you to stop in his blog. He should be updating in the next hour or so.
Micah and Addie are both fighting a bug right now- I think I may have to take lil Addie back to the doctor again. She still doesn't act sick but this darn cough is hanging on for all it's worth. Micah is all congested now as well. I am the only one whom has managed to stay healthy thus far- I am sure my time isn't too far off.
I have uploaded over 100 pictures from the get together which can be seen here: Pennsylvania Christmas Pictures 2005
