Addie woke up about 11 pm with a 101 fever which has continued into today going to around 102 (R). She is acting fine, eating well, and being silly so I am guessing we will see a rash show up in the next day or so and confirm my speculation of Roseola. We think that my nephew had it when we saw him over Christmas and being that the incubation period is 10-14 days- we still fall into the window. Blah! At least I have dealt with this before and it isn't something serious and not making her miserable but I still hate going through it again.
On better terms- I did have a nice time out running errands alone. I was slightly disappointed that when I went to pick up my starbucks order of a peppermint mocha frappe I was told they were out of peppermint- but in the end it turned out well. The barista asked if I wanted to choose something else or just get my money back- I thought for a second and decided on a choc. chip frappe- which she made up pretty quickly and then when presenting me with it- included a coupon for a free drink on them. :) I finally had something stinky turn into something good :)
Have I ever said how much I enjoy going to Sams club? LOL. You never have any clue what you will find there. Today I had like a 10 course meal- it was mega sample day and I had everything from a large sample of a philly cheesesteak sandwhich to fruit, salsa, crackers, pasta, and Italian wedding soup. YUM YUM YUM!!! LOL. I also found some neat little things there that I wanted to purchase but resisted. I do want to go back though and show Tim this Leap Frog desk I saw for 19.99. It has the My first Leap Pad, a whole desk and chair, alphabet and number templates and a whole bunch of other things that are slipping my mind. There was a TON of things with it- I am thinking Micah may get it for his birthday.
All of our Christmas decorations are now down and away. The house looks bare- well there are toys taking up that spot but it still doesn't fill it in the same way. I miss it already. Why is the Christmas season only a month? I think it should be its own season :)
I hope to share a new digital LO with you in just a bit- it is from Holly's "Dare to Muse Me" challenge- and I had it all complete this morning and somehow I closed it out without saving it. Wahhhhhhhhhhhh! I really liked how it turned out- I am sure it won't come out the same way again- but maybe I will just improve on it :) One can dream- right? :) I am off to try and complete it now- hope to post it soon. Hang tight for me ;)

OMG that is the WORST when you finish a LO and then save it improperly. But maybe it will be a blessing in disguise. Can't wait to see your finished product!

I have closed layouts without saving them, it is so frustrating especially if it's something you have been working on for awhile. Hopefully Addie's Roseola doesn't last to long. Aiden still has a little bit of the rash but it has mostly cleared up. Just a little left on his chest. Thankfully it isn't on his face anymore though.
I think I know what leap frog table/desk you are talking about! We were going to get one for Tyler for Christmas, but we wouldn't have had anywhere to put it. He is loving his aquadoddle though!! No more murals on our walls:)

awww poor addie-i've never seen roseola, but hopefully she stays happy and doesn't get miserable!
