Pretty Productive Day

While Tim was away at a meeting this morning/ afternoon I was able to accomplish quite a few things around the house. After waking up, Micah took a bath since Addie was still upstairs asleep. While he bathed/ played, I put away all of Addie's clothes, took out a few things she has outgrown and started to work on some of Micah's clothes. After Micah was finished- he of course woke up Addie- and we all headed down for breakfast. During the next few hours I was able to do three loads of laundry, clean up the living room, clean off the desktop computer (downloads our loving son likes to get off Nick Jr.), and a few other odds and ends. I exercised (a whopping 15 crunches and 10 suicides and then 5 pushups ;) ) and took time to play goofy games with the kids- it was quite a day ;)

Does anyone else have a child that watches Noggin and is now obsessed with "Pinky Pinky Doo"- the show that isn't even on yet? I am SOOOO SICK of these teaser commercials- I can't even count how many times I have had to explain to Micah that it isn't coming on yet. He sits there in tears and says, "But Mommy, Micah wants to watch Pinky Pinky Doo". Poor guy!!

I just want to say thank you again to my anonymous poster (whom I still have no idea or even guesses) that managed to bring a huge smile to my face once again. Whoever you might be, you are a sweetheart and I thank you for your kind words. :) May I learn by your example and always spread joy to other people's lives.

I know I have been sharing all of Addie's newest accomplishments- now she tries to mimic whatever facial expression you make at her. Whether it be smacking your lips (she loves mimicking grandpa B), blowing kisses, razzing her lips or whatever- she tries to mimic you. She is sitting in my lap right now and has her tongue hanging out the corner- probably because mine was just that way b/c I was concentrating ;) She is now trying to type you all a message- I think she is saying she wants Mommy to come play and put down the computer for awhile. If I am not careful I am sure she could find the button to delete this whole post for me- YIKES!

Since Addie is insisting and being "oh so nice" about it (beating my face and giggling) in closing I will share three of the pictures from yesterday. These aren't necessarily my top choices- but I am saving a few of those for a project that I want to be fresh- so you must wait on those for a little while. My lighting was a bit harsh overall but I still love how these turned out. I just LOVE how blue her eyes are- I honestly do nothing to make them pop except a basic overall sharpen- for those of you who haven't seen her in person- they really are THAT BLUE! :) I also must give a shout out to my Mom whom made this dress for Addie. We picked out this material quite awhile ago and she actually made it back in the fall but Addie is just now growing into it. Isn't it sweet? :) I also want to share a LO I just completed with a kit by Angie Briggs which is available at Scrap Girls. Hope you enjoy :)

Oh I love that dress! I don't think I saw that one! I might have, but the only one I can think of right now I think is a purple one! Anyways, it's beautiful! And of course you already know how much we love Addies popping blue eyes!!! Jen isn't lying when she says they are that blue, because they really are!!! Micah was the same way too as a baby, but I don't remember them being as blue as Addie's eyes are!If I was down there, I would get in a workout with you. I need to get myself back up and toned. Air Force days for me was the pretty much the last time I had a great amount of strength to keep up a routine. I need to get back into one! hopefully after the move!

Thanks Tegan- my mom made it quite awhile ago.
It feels so great to get into a routine- I just hope I can keep it up. With two kids I can't do much else- so I figure if I can just do a bit here and there- hopefully it will make a difference ;)

You should get one of those jogging strollers. Since I know you were a runner before. But those things are so darn expensive. Or those things you put on the back of your bikes. Those can also be used as jogging strollers.
Oh I replyed to you back on my blog, but I have no idea what happened to the comment. I didn't even get to see it. Maybe blogger is still working out some kinks that they had yesterday and the night before.
