Have You Missed Me Yet?

Whether or not you did, I am back ;) We had a crazy, busy, fun-packed weekend and I am still recovering. From Sesame Street to a first birthday party, church and the park- we have been having non-stop fun for the last four days. I really don't want to bore you with all the details- so I will just share a brief recap of the weekend events.

Friday nite was Micah's birthday gift to see "Sesame Street Live" at the Civic Center. Micah and Addie sat in total awe- it was so fun to see their amazement. Micah was clapping and singing along and answering the different questions they shouted out to the audience. Both kids got a bit restless after the intermission- but after a few fruit puffs for Ms. Addie and Elmo's World catching both of their attention- they settled in for the rest of the show. All in all it was a WONDERFUL experience that I would do again in a heartbeat- I totally recommend it to anyone with young children whom enjoy Elmo or any Sesame Street character.

Saturday was Aiden's first birthday party so we headed up to Ashtabula to help him celebrate and view Matt and Tegan's new house. It was a nice little party and we are happy to have been able to be there. The new house is really great for them and we are happy that they are enjoying having a place of their own.

Sunday was the normal routine of church and Sunday school- though Micah had a nice screaming fest while being dropped off. This week was a Breakfast Club service for the youth- those are always lots of fun- something different from the norm. After church we had family nap time ;) and Tim was off to youth and board meetings. Nothing too exciting that evening- I cleaned and the kids messed up- life as ordinary around here.

Today was an absolutely gorgeous out- right near 60 and sunny. After lunch, we all went outside to the park and played for quite awhile. After playing, we got in the car to jut go on a drive through the country. I grabbed my camera and we snapped a few pictures as we drove- nothing real spectacular but it was fun none-the-less. While out, we stopped at Berean and Tim picked up a few new resources. Micah sat and watched a bit of the new Veggie Tales dvd and had a fun time playing in the play area. After we got home, I had this urge to go running- so I did. I ran around 1 1/2 miles total- and am feeling it this evening. I am feeling a lot of tightness in my legs-but the worst part is that there must be some allergens in the air b/c suddenly my left side of my face is all runny- nose, eyes, etc...and it didn't happen until I went running. I hope this is short lived b/c I feel bad having Micah asking me why I am crying.

Tomorrow we are planning another day of outside play- it is supposed to be in the low 70s- can you believe it? I am so excited- I know Micah will have a blast playing outside again and Addie is just happy taking her wherever we go. I believe there are some high school home events going on tomorrow so we plan to go and check out things after Tim gets home. Of course there were tons of things last week when it was too cold to walk up- but hopefully something will be going on tomorrow :) If not- we will get a nice walk out of it ;)

I have a few things to share with you since my last post- a LO and a few pictures- so hope you enjoy :)

(unfortunately- the elmo ones of the kids aren't that great- it was raining outside- so no great pictures by signs or anything and inside- it was too dark with my different lenses and using flash that close to them washed them out :( I did get a TON of the production that came out great- but I will just share one here so as not to bore you)
