Playing with photoshop

Nothing really that exciting to post about today- it was grey and overcast so although it was warm- we stayed inside most of the day. Micah started off the day on a bad foot (I won't even go into it here- I really dislike that lately I seem to post quite a bit of negative about him- he really can be sweet ;) ). I worked a bit on a project and then we went to my inlaws house for "Easter Dinner". Yep- we will be all alone Easter Sunday- how sad :( Its ok though- it was great to get together and see my SIL and BIL- which we realized has been quite awhile since we saw them last. Both kids were relatively well behaved- which is always a plus! We had a bit of nasty weather blow through late in the evening- but thankfully we missed the brunt of the storm and besides a few house rattling thunderbooms- we were relatively unscathed.

This evening as the kids watched Little Einstein (which can you even believe that Addie already knows the "pat pat pat" and "raise your arms in the air" (and darn it- but she looks so incredibly cute doing it) I played around a bit in photoshop. As I posted a few days ago- we drove around this past weekend and I took some random shots and we travelled. Quite a few of them happened to be of the Nickel Plate Railway and I decided to play a bit with the pictures and work on a collage to possibly hang in Micah's room. I am not sure if this is what it will look like in the final version- but I just wanted to share my creation (and Tim told me I had to ;) ).
Since I really have nothing else of importance to write about- I will just leave you with my collage and hope it leaves you with a lasting impression.

OH I really like the pictures, they look retro with that font! Almost like the 70 style photos! I think that they will look great in Micah's room!

Sounds like Micah and McKenna are going through a similar stage. : )

I love your collage! The photography is beautiful and you picked a great font! I'm sorry you guys will be alone on Easter. I've been there. Practically all last year's holidays had Erick working. I hope that you guys still have a nice day together as a family! Happy Easter!
