Ho Hum

Even though I have nothing all that exciting to talk about, I thought I would write a quick blurb while watching ER this evening. Since I am on the topic of tv, did you catch Grey's Anatomy tonite? Ahhh- great episode!! Another Snow Patrol song was featured- isn't that group great?!?

This week has consisted of school, baking, Y workouts, cleaning, lots of research online, nice weather alternated with cold, wet, and grey weather and lots of tasty food.
Micah is doing really well in preschool- he is so excited to go nowadays- wakes right up and hurries downstairs to eat and get ready to leave. Today he taught me one of the songs they sing- and man is it cute when he sings it. It is the "Good Morning" song sung to the tune of "Skip to My Lou". If you happen so see him, you should ask him to sing it- I bet he would oblige ;) We have heard it at least 25 times this evening.

Monday we went to the apple orchard and got a peck of apples- soooo tasty! I made a pie and pie rolls yesterday- much to Tim's delight :) I love the smell of baked goods in the fall- it just adds to the already pleasant smelling air of autumn.

I went running three times already this week and plan on going again tomorrow afternoon. I have been running about two miles at a time- one day I went out to a local park and ran the walking trails with the kids in the jogging stroller. Let me tell you- that was a workout! I really wasn't sure if I would make it back in one piece- not sure how often I will be doing that.
Tim and I are thinking about running (well at least entering and finishing for me) a 5k next month. I know I can continuously run for 2.25 miles- not sure if I can add another .85- but if nothing else, I could walk it and at least feel the accomplishment of completion. I feel so good about myself with my new routine- nothing like trying to get and stay fit :)
Ms. Addie had another swimming class today, and she did quite well. We did our first underwater swim- which suprised her but all in all she took it really well. The test will be how she reacts when we get in the water tomorrow- if she thinks I am out to try and drown her. ;)

Tomorrow we are off to the Y as I mentioned and then I have to go out and run some errands in Belden. Saturday the kids and I are off to Madison/Ashtabula for my nephews birthday party and to visit with Grandma and Papa. Micah is way excited- he asks every day if it is Saturday yet- hopefully he will understand the concept of time someday - lol.
