Another day of preschool- this time, no incident what-so-ever. He was such a big boy- walked right in and was ready to go :) Addie and I had a bit of "alone" time ( I kept thinking I needed to go check on Micah- that he was off playing or something- such a weird feeling) until it was time to pick him up. He did his first art project- they made bears and glued little bits of tissue paper to them to represent the colors of the animals that they learned about this week. He was so proud of his creation- I took a picture of him holding it, but have yet to take it off the memory card, so sharing it will have to wait.
I went to the Y when Tim came home for lunch, ran another 2 miles today :) It really does feel so great to be active like this. Hopefully it will show in my body as well.
Tonite was my first "Girl Talk" Bible Study for the teen girls in our youth group. We had 16 there- it went really well from my perception. I really hope that everyone else felt the same way and we will be able to grow from here. It is a great chance to get to know the girls on a different level and to hopefully help them discover new truths about the Bible.
We finished Season 2 of Grey's Anatomy today- so we are all caught up for tomorrow :) I really can't wait to tune in- though it will be so hard to wait from week to week.
Tomorrow I have an appt. with Micah in the morning, swimming with Addie late morning and then various other tasks I need to complete. I hope to maybe start taping off our bedroom so that we can paint sometime next week- then again I planned on doing that a long time ago- and it still hasn't happened.
Friday brings Addie's 15 month appt. and dinner out with friends (which means babysitter for the kids- hopefully Addie won't react to the shots). Saturday we are going to a "going away" party for our friends that are going to Costa Rica as missionaries. I will also be taking family pictures that evening.
Speaking of pictures, I have two confirmations for senior portraits next year and a really strong possibility of a third and interest from two people in weddings. Eeeek!! I really never tought I would do weddings at all...one though is a friend. The other is a friend of a friend who really likes my work :) WOW. How freaking awesome is that? It definitely makes me feel good. With those and "family" shoots in between- things look to be picking up a bit.
I am starting to think about holiday portraits- they will be here before we know it. Things get so busy around the holidays and the weather turns ugly. Not only that, but labs start getting pressed for time and with my own crazy schedule, I hope to start filling slots early.
Enough of my rambling for tonite, I have to go eat some of my homemade chocolate peanut butter chip cookies. (yeah- just what my diet needs...) Oh- and that is without a nice glass of cold milk. (Don't even ask. Or if you must...ask Tim) Sigh...
