While I have been absent here, I have actually stuck with my "once a day post" on the Lenten blog. Now...what is it? Only 30 something more days? LOL I can do it- yes I can...if I can't do it No one can. Oh my- I think the five chocolate chip cookies I just chowed on (they are the BEST straight from the oven- yes?) just went right to my brain.
Nothing exciting going on around here these days. Boring weekend... same old same old. Micah finally had school on a Monday- and was all excited to be back. While he was learning, Tim, Addie and I went to the Y. I finally went back to the strength training class and then snuck in a half mile run before trucking it to go pick Micah up on time. The rest of the day was spent at home- just trying to keep the kids from destroying the place. I really can't wait until spring and warm weather...though I love snow- I can't deal with them being cooped up much longer. I think some creative idea needs to come out tomorrow or else I might go crazy!!
While I have been doing great with my preplanned menus...this is payday week which means we run low on a variety of choices so...are left with ho-humness. This is what I have thus far...
Tonite was cheesy hashbrown potatoe casserole (you know- that stuff that is always at pot-lucks) and italian chicken
Tomorrow: I think some sort of pasta...either spaghetti or something of the sort
Wednesday: Sour cream chicken back and egg noodles
Thursday: maybe stuffed peppers and mashed potatoes
Friday: maybe breakfast for dinner
Saturday: I have no idea thus far!!
so...there you have it. A half-planned menu ;) I really should go upstairs and read...I am still not finished with my 800+ page book and have already renewed once. I don't think I will ever know the ending...
