Kidisms

I thought I would share a bit of the things I have been hearing around my house the past few days...

Addie...
"why do you have white icing in your eyes Mommy"? (I guess talking about the whites of my eyes? LOL She was right up in my face when asking this

"I love kissmas time" (yep... she can't say Christmas...)

"I really want ____ for kissmass" (fill in with any princess toy on the market)

and so many more I can't think of right now.

Micah
Micah has been talking about what he wants to be when he grows up. He has settled on being a conductor, a good policeman (that only pulls over people who are going really really fast b/c that means they are bad people) and wants to be a Dad when he is 30 (and he assured me that Tim and I can be the grandma and grandpa-lol!!)

Micah also has the "I wants" for Christmas... including every electronic item out there (even an I-phone which he saw on tv)

Micah accidentally hit Addie in the forehead last nite when throwing toys... and he showed huge remorse when he realized he actually hurt her. He was on the verge of tears and was very worried about her... Very sweet to see how much he loves her.

there are more with him as well... but of course I can't think right now so these will have to do.

In other news... we have been hosuebound with this cold weather and snow. The kids tried to talk me into going outside to play in it yesterday but I won out- LOL. We instead made another 2 loaves of banana bread (Micah LOVES this stuff!!) and found little projects to keep us busy.
Micah has been reading Laura Numeroff books at school and doing tons of fun projects. They have made a sock puppet to go along with one of them, pancakes for "If you give a pig a pancake", took a lunch for "If you take a Mouse to school", made forts with blankets and pillows yesterday, and will have movie and popcorn on Friday for "If you take a Mouse to the Movies" SOOOO cute!! I love these books and highly recommend them for any young child.

We are slowly getting ready for Christmas around here. Most of the shopping is done, just need to address the Christmas cards once they arrive... I can't wait to see them in person :) It is fun seeing how excited the kids are this year... makes the season even more special!! :)
