My MIL dropped off a box of my husband's old toys and this old teddy bear was among the goods. My kids have attached to this ratty old thing and it struck me to see it abandoned laying on the floor today... sort of reminding me of how quickly childhood passes and kids grow out of teddy bears and playing princess... We have already moved beyond so many childhood milestones and just as this bear, so many of their toys, clothes, etc... have been left to the same fate. I don't want those moments to be forgotten thus the reason I take so many pictures and try to document their lives. It really does seem to be "in the blink of an eye" somedays.
Sigh... do they have to grow up?
