Yesterday while we were out running errands, I could suddenly hear the kids talking in the back about Jesus and the debil. Micah has been asking a lot of questions recently and a lot of them have centered on the "bad man" and why he makes us do bad things. Anyway... Micah was telling Addie how the devil is mean and how he lives under the grass and how Jesus makes us do good things. Addie looked over at him and said "the debil is bad Micah and I don't like him" LOL I think she has pretty much got it ;)
There have been so many kidisms recently and I have been horrible about keeping up with recording them. For instance, Micah's birthday is coming up in a little over a week. We are having his party a week from today and he invited some kids from his school. First, when we were writing the invitations, I asked him who he would like to invite. He named Emma right away (the little girl he likes) and then said, "Alivia Mommy... because she is really pretty" Oh my!! What am I gonna do with this boy?
On that same subject, the day he handed out his invitations, he got a phone call from Emma. I really didn't think he would talk (which if you know Micah, I think you would agree!) but he was SOOO cute on the phone. I guess she thanked him for the invitation and told him she would be coming. Can it really be true that my boy is growing up? I mean he already got his first phone call from a girl!! LOL
As you can imagine, I have been quite busy with party planning and yet I still hardly have anything planned. I have SOO much to do this week and tons of photo orders to upload... I really want to know where the extra time is coming from!! Not only do we have that but we have our normal craziness (9 youth here on Monday, girl's Bible study on Wednesday, Micah in school three days...) we also start baseball on Tuesdays with Micah, dance resumes on Wednesday mornings, Mom's group this Thursday and then Addie's swimming starts Saturday as well. YIKES!! Oh and Micah has a dentist appt. on Monday and a field trip Friday which I am attending with him. Good golly!!! Anyone want to assist me for a week? ; )
I guess with a list like that, I really should be checking off items while I can and since Tim and Micah are at a basketball game, now is as good of a time as any. Addie is subdued watching a "Strawberry Shortcake Cinderella" movie and I don't think she is even blinking. This girl lives and breaths Cinderella... so much so that she insists she is going to be Cinderella and a ballerina when she grows up. Micah has tried to talk her into being a policeman like he wants to be, but she is very adament about her choices.
