that we have *another* snow day. I knew Micah wouldn't take today well as it was the day of his Valentines party. We had written out all his cards yesterday, made ice cream cone cupcakes and he was all ready to go. He started crying when I broke the news to him :( Poor guy. I hope they will still have a small party next week- I think they did this last year for a party. I will send in his cards and such just in case. Not sure if I will make a snack again- maybe something smaller scale... I told him the good side of this for him is that he has a LOT of cupcakes to eat up.
It is crazy that just two weeks ago we had used no snow days and then we had a random one and now three this week. Good grief!! It wouldn't be so bad if we could go play in it... but although we had a nice snow early yesterday, it rained for probably four hours. We did get quite a bit again last nite, but I am pretty sure it will all be waterlogged from the rain. We are headed out for Addie's dance class in a bit so I will check out the situation and see if we can't someone get out to play for at least a short time. What a crazy winter!
